Teachers play an integral part in keeping the website up to date and exciting for visitors (i.e. parents) to return to.
The platform provides Teachers with functionality to communicate with parents of the pupils in the year group.
Teachers (and / or class room assistants) will be provided with their own login details by the Administrator of the website that enables teachers to make changes to the website through their own Parent Portal.
In the training for teacher section, we will focus on the following:
Accessing the Teacher Portal
Managing the main Group Page
Updating the Group Calendar
Creating additional Pages (e.g. Clubs)
Managing Student Pages
Adding and maintenance of links
Uploading photos from the desktop
Uploading photos via SchoolApp2
Sending of messages to parents in the group
Setting up an appointment schedule for parent evening
Tips and Tricks
It is recommended for teachers to access the website via the front end with their own user name and password. The Administrator manages User Name and Passwords
Teachers will be asked to change their password when logging in for the first time
Teachers will have the final say on what is published on the group pages
A Teacher can be set up with Administor rights and permissions and could play a "dual" role: As a Teacher as well as an Administrator
